IZEA Welcomes New Cryptocurrencies for Payment Forms

Cryptocurrencies are earning their seats in the modern world as a form of payment. Many platforms supporting traditional payment forms have extended their list to accept Cryptocurrencies as well.

IZEA is one such platform that has added Litecoin and three more cryptocurrencies to the list of payment forms. The platform has started accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum. Doge, Litecoin, Shiba Inu, and CRO are new cryptocurrencies announced to join that list.

Background

Influencer marketing is on the rise. Candidates with a talent to engage their audience through content and creativity are driving big businesses closer to achieving their marketing objectives. IZEA is a platform that makes it professional and official for every type of industry.

The platform connects brands to top influencers and content creators who meet their marketing requirements and make the promotional deliverables on time.

Many creators looking to monetize their creativity have also benefited from the platform.

In 2006, IZEA created its first influencer marketing platform. Since then, about 4 million transactions between businesses and influencers have been recorded.

The acceptance of cryptocurrencies, especially Litecoin, is driving trading prices, something that is in the best interest of everyone in the ecosystem. Litecoin is one of the top 15 most valuable cryptocurrencies by market valuation, with over 69 million units in circulation. The trading value of Litecoin, at the time of writing, is $134.61. It is down by 3.80% in the past 24 hours, but a recovery to $191 is still estimated by the end of the year. You can get more information here about the future of Litecoin.

New Additions For IZEA

Influencers on IZEA now have more options to accept the payment from brands they associate with. After recently announcing that it will accept Bitcoin and Ethereum as a form of payment for Influencer marketing services managed by the platform, it has announced a list of four more cryptocurrencies that will be accepted.

The list now includes Litecoin along with Dogecoin, Crypto.com Coin, and Shiba Inu.

Those who have registered on IZEA under the influencer marketing program can opt to receive their payments in a Cryptocurrency of their preferred choice. They will still have the option of receiving their payments in a traditional form.

IZEA’s decision to add Litecoin and other currencies to the list of payment forms is driven by data that was generated by conducting a survey.

Results of the survey pointed out that nearly 64% of the registered influencers held Cryptocurrencies, and close to 50% of the total registered influencers were interested to accepting the payment in the form of cryptocurrencies.

The addition of every cryptocurrency is based on this survey. The conclusion from the survey was also drawn to understand that influencers were likely to hold Litecoin, Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Crypto.com Coin equally to Bitcoin and Ethereum.

Out of all the public figures, influencers top the list of being early adopters to new technology.

The same point has been noted by Ted Murphy, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of IZEA. He said that influencers were early adopters of cryptocurrency, with many expressing their desires to accept their preferred cryptocurrency over the traditional currency as a form of payment for their services.

He highlighted the portion of the research which concluded that Bitcoin and Ethereum were always preferred by the influencers.

Ted Murphy added that including more cryptocurrencies had opened opportunities for brands and influencers to connect in new and creative ways. He also said that adding cryptocurrencies was a direct response to the rising needs of content creators.
